The number of units: Any continuous casting equipment with Z ladle, casting 1 stream or multi-flow billet is called Z-stage continuous casting machine.
The number of machines: Where there are Z ladle, X independent transmission system, and independent working system when the machine fails, the machine can still work normally. The continuous casting equipment is called the Z-machine X-die continuous casting machine. A continuous casting machine can consist of one unit or multiple units.
Flow number: X drive system can simultaneously cast Y cast slab called X machine Y flow continuous casting machine. 1 continuous casting machine has 1 unit, and only one casting blank can be cast, which is called 1 machine 1 flow; if one continuous casting machine has multiple units, it can cast multiple casting blanks at the same time, called multi-machine More flow.
Therefore, one unit and two units capable of simultaneously casting two slabs are called one unit, two units, and two streams.
